SnB: Cricket’s Technicolor Techno-Cozy

Since I’m such a big fan of Stitch ‘N Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker, I went ahead to buy Stitch ‘N Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook as well. I was already working on my first project, a scarf (another post for another time), at this time but I got bored after 10 inches. Yeah, I’ve the attention span of a cockroach. Anyway, I still have heaps of colourful acrylic yarn around so I cast on on Cricket’s Technicolor Techno-Cozy. That’s one of the easier patterns for a complete n00b like me. It’s a pretty fast knit and I’m almost halfway through but there’re so many colour changes! Man, I’m so not looking forward to the gazillion ends to weave in after I’m done with it. So I’m appealing to all the knitting goddesses (and gods) out there, are there any other ways of joining new colours without having to weave in a gazillion ends (I’m currently using the duplicate stitch join method)? I love to weave in ends as much as I love sewing, which is to say, not at all.
